Htc stuck on stick together screen
Take battery out if you are unable to restart. wait a few and reinstall and restart. If it comes back on with the same problem you make need to do a factory reset. But only as last resort as you will have a fresh phone with no contacts or history. Hopefully you have a backup. Here is a link to resetting the phonehttp://www.hard-reset.com/htc-smart-hard-reset.html Beware all data will be lost.

Hard reset htc hd2
The easiest way to Hard Reset is to go to the Sense UI 'Settings' tab,
tap on 'Security' then 'Factory reset', enter the required code in the
box and tap 'Yes', the device will then clear all data and you will need
to set the device up just as you did when you used it for the first
time.
If you can't for any reason access the HD2 at all to Hard Reset, there
is another method that can be used but is quite fiddly to perform, and
may take a few tries to get right:
Remove the back cover from the HD2, now hold down the volume up and
down keys, while also holding down the end call key. Now press in the
red reset button under the back cover to the bottom left of the SIM,
release the reset button and your finger on the end call button at the
same time, but keep the volume up and down buttons pressed in. You
should after a while of holding be presented with a white screen giving
instructions to either continue with the reset to the manufacturers
default, or press any key to cancel.

Unable to play hd videos
I believe there is an app you have to get to use that feature on most android phones you may want to consult your owners manual for further clarification.
