Your TV has to have a digital tuner. If you get to the input for digital tuner it will display the channels with decimal points 2.1, 2.2, etc. If you do not see that you have an analog tuner or cable ready.
Try changing the inputs until you get digital channels. If not, go to the store and purchase digital converter box...40 bucks

Ur tv have only white screen with sound before?The LCD inverter board,that help for LCD screen panel to have backlight is not the problems.The tv Tuner signal board is the problems.That the board,where the incomming broadcasting signal cable wire plug into it.Repair this problems before.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner signal board for the replacement.

You may have failing power supply with bad DC filter caps.

Strange, have you tried 0000, 1234, 9999 as the codes? Is it a four digit code? It is very strange for a single input to be locked...

Yes,room must have well venturlation,not go beyon 90 degree more than hour.Well damage your electronics componnents,or well shorten their life 40%.LCD Screen have no effect on heat or cold only the electronics componnents that the problems.

Ok, I am having the same issue. I just bought my tv - same model at the Target Black Friday sale. Can I ask, did yours make a low humming noise before you changed it out. I still am within my 30 day exchange policy, so I am thinking it would be wiser just to exchange it... but my concern is, would I get one with the same problem (or worse) in exchange?
