You probably be better off getting a new set, the panel are very expensive, unless you you fine someone that has a used like new one.

Will not able to buy the LCD screen panel as part wise,because it is 90% important to the tv and it functions.Tvs LCD screen panels are very limited in productions by the tvs corporations,they'll sell it to u,but they'll charge u the same as a new.Sorry this tv now,only can be used as spare electronic boards for parts only for other tvs only now.

You need an HD Cable box from either your Satellite provider or the cable company, and you must subscribe to the HD package. The HD package is usually in a different channel range than your SD channels.

Here are some DIY steps that may help you fixing the problem.

I'm assuming that your unit is dead set without an standby LED light and your outlet is live. 1.Power cord - check the cord it might be opened (no continuity).This is due to frequent bending,pulling. 2. Power switch - check for dry joints, open contact, replaced if necessary. 3.Check the internal fuse - sometimes the fuse fail because of the power surge, replacing with new one will cure the problem, If this is the case I've advice you to use surge protector/AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator). However if the fuse blew again this is an indication that you have a shorted parts on the power supply, you may visit the link http://www.fixya.com/support/r8053361-fuse_keeps_blowing for more info. If no reaction and still the unit didn't power up then you have an open parts on the power supply.

4.If you see that the fuse is intact on the board, don't attempt to touch anything because there some fatal components stored electricity enough to hurt you with a simple mistake only.

The next steps should be done by an expert or qualified technician because isolating the problem on the power supply is quite technical.

Also check if your unit is under warranty before opening the back panel, it will void the warranty. Avail it because the manufacturer of your unit will fix it for free or a little charge only.

Take a picture of the back of the tv panel removed and I'll direct you to the inverter - first though grab a flashlight and shin on the screen and if you can see a dark image of whatever you are watching - yes you more than likely need an inverter board. it should be a board that is probably covered with a metal shield that is just about the length of tv from top to bottom. has multiple plugs in it on the side of the tv that is closet to the outer edge of the tv....you can get one off the net...

Unplug it for about an hour and try again, if it still bad, you have to check the power supply and the backligt inverter modules.

Waves are an indication of interverance on the signal. Is it a analogue picture you are watching? If so, you may need a aerial upgrade, or diagnostics on your equipment done.

The five times I ran into this problem on these model sets it was caused by bad main board three times and bad lcd display panel,(screen) one time, and bad solder connections at a connector on the main board the other time. You can try to search model number and board description for pricing. Chances are a repair shop will charge 100-400 u.s. dollars to fix this problem. Good luck with your new disposable flat screen.Russmann.

Hi,

Disconnect the power supply for few minutes and then turn it on. If the problem persists, it would confirm an internal problem and needs repair. This is highly suggestive of a problem with main board. Other probabilities could be T conn board, panel or other internal component.Unfortunately,there is no simple option to determine the exact fault without opening the TV. If needed to speculate, i would go with mainboard as this is a common problem on most of the TV's.You need to either call a professional on site to fix this or you need to open the TV to investigate and replace the faulty component.

just make sure you have a magnetically shielded speaker and your good to do ok

You may have a defective inverter. The inverter provides the back lighting you need to see video. There is good chance the starting resistors have changed values. It would be best to replace the inverter in your case. I would have to have a schematic to find the bad resistors. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support.

If sound stays on and doesn't goes off then you need the video logic main board, if the audio goes out, it maybe the power supply

Sounds like a loose connection to the display panel. Did you physicaly move it from the time it didnt work to the time it started working..
