The unit is on a hardwood floor and there is water
The potential for water leaking to the floor is probably still there. Open the door of the unit, look in the back and you will see a white plate; that is the evaporator. When the unit is running, there is a light frost that forms on the front and back surface of the evaporator; sometimes the frost can get a bit thick because of air laden moisture infiltration or the frequency of door opening. That frost eventually will melt and drain from a drain hole right underneath the evaporator. If that drain hole is plugged up, water will eventually leak out from under the door. Keep that hole clean and patent and also check the state of the water collecting pan underneath the the unit. That might solve your water problem.

My vt-tc32g will work for a bit and then stop
If it cycles very irraticly then the temp control could be out of calibration and will need to be replaced. There usually is about a 5-10 degree difference between on and off for the temp control and will be worse with no product in the cooler

Tc32g unit gets too cold
Too cold usually means temp control switch is out. Temp controller turns the compressor on and off based on the temp. It can be a mechanical switch or a circuit board, but good chance it has failed.
