When the unit is running, there is a light frost that forms on the front and back surface of the evaporator; sometimes the frost can get a bit thick because of air laden moisture infiltration or the frequency of door opening. That frost eventually will melt and drain from a drain hole right underneath the evaporator. If that drain hole is plugged up, water will eventually leak out from under the door. Keep that hole clean and patent and also check the state of the water collecting pan underneath the the unit. That might solve your water problem.
