Biostar G41-M7 Motherboard - Socket 775, Intel G41, MicroATX, DDR2, PCIe, USB 2.0 (802700502491) Questions & Answers
Any kind of mouse & keyboard not support
It sounds like you have drivers missing, (check your device manager) or try looking on the disk that is supplied with the board else contact the board manufacturer. A USB keyboard and mouse should work, if not it could also be your OS installation. Another though is that I hope you are not trying to use your old hard drive setup on a new board, it wont work as it will be looking for the wrong components and main board. A complete re install is the answer if you have done this.or try and replace all the drivers needed for the new board.
HIGH SPEED USB HOST CONTROL
click start control panel administrive tools ,computer management ,device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you should see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers or
if you can see your usb drive but its not working
ports(com&lpt)right click update driver
check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red-white-green-black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems for a computer and its parts also
scroll to disk drives if you can see your drive + to expand right click you should see options to update driver, disable, uninstall scan for hardware changes. or
select properties you should see options in the general tab to troubleshoot, policies, volumes, driver and details under the driver tab you will have the options to check the driver details, update driver, rollback driver or uninstall then
hope this helps don
I bought Motherboard Biostar G41-M7
There are problems with the video files for this board if you are using windows 7. Firstly I'd try downloading the latest drivers and see if that resolves the problem
The computer doesn't detect any
The Motherboard you have talked about supports mostly all the operating systems. If the computer is not detecting the audio driver, most probably the drivers you have installed is not compatible with the Operating System you are using right now. As you have not told what is operating system, I'm not able to find out the proper solution for you. So, I'm giving this link, where you can download all the drivers compatible for your Operating Systems (eg. XP, Vista, Se7en, etc.). For example, if you are using Vista 32-bit, then download the corresponding driver compatible for vista (i.e. Vista x86)....otherwise the driver will never work.
Here is the link for downloading your OS compatible drivers:
Download Drivers for Biostar G41-M7 Now install the driver the properly and enjoy working :)
Failure in saving BIOs
I have
Enter BIOS SETUP.
Choose Load Factory Defaults.
Save/Exit.
Or, since the motherboard is less than one week old, it has a warranty. Exercise the warranty, to get a replacement motherboard.
When I start the system is not video display
There may be problem in Monitor or VGA Card. When you Turn on PC the Monitor light is green after 10 second if It will be orange . It means your monitor is alright . but problem in you VGA Card.
When the PC turn on there is any beep.
If no beep then your RAM is alright.
Problem in VGA Card.
