I can't get my Lexmark X2670 to scan and transfer the document to my computer other than as a .JPG file which is taking up too much space.

Try to access the Lexmark Productivity Studio. Just click on Start > All Programs > Lexmark 2600 Series > Lexmark Productivity Studio. You can try scanning to PDF. If that option is grayed out, you'll need to install the OCR found in the installation CD of your printer.

Printer won't print, says it does not recognise the cartridges. it flashes 1 then a C then an e. HELP.nd a C

The problem could be due to a communication failure between one of the printheads (cartridges) and the All-In One (AIO) or by a short in one if the printheads. Please follow the steps below to identify and fix cartridge issues:

  1. Make sure the printer is on.
  2. Open the printer cover. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-In-One is busy. Note: If the carrier does not automatically move to the center, turn off the printer or unplug the printer from the power source and then carefully slide the carrier to the center.
  3. Remove both cartridges from the carrier.
  4. Close the printer cover.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box behind the printer where the power cord is plugged in to, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.
  7. If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.
  8. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new genuine Lexmark cartridge. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Can you connect a printer lexmark x 2760 without a usb?

The Lexmark X2670 can only connect to a computer using a USB cable. Without it, your computer won't be able to communicate to the printer for printing, copying and scanning. If you lost the USB cable, you may purchase one from any retail stores. The USB cable used for your model has Type A plug on one end and the other end has Type B plug. You may also contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.I hope this information has been helpful.

What cartridges does it say to use in the manual? Maybe the wrong ones were put in the box. After all they evidently forgot the power cord! Please rate my answer so I can get points awarded for it.

Please could you supply me with an installation CD

You either need the driver or the software studio, this model might
not have a studio, and just the driver so windows see the printer and you can print.

This is the download page for your product. Make sure you have the right model #.

Colourcartridgenotprinting

Just make sure you are inserting genuine Lexmark cartridges. Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, remanufactured or clone cartridges, you might not get the print quality you expect from ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.Try cleaning the cartridge nozzles using the Lexmark software installed on your computer instead:1. On your computer, go to Start menu.2. Go to Programs.3. Go to Lexmark 2600 Series folder.4. Select Lexmark Solution Center.5. From the Maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean it from dirt and possible clogs. If that doesn't help but you're using genuine Lexmark supplies, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for additional assistance, otherwise, please replace your color cartridge with a genuine one.
