You could try to reinstall the ink cartridges. Remove both cartridges Let printer cycle Reinstall back the ink cartridges

Make sure they are seated ok. To reset that printer you should unplug it from the wall for a couple of minutes. Make sure you can move the carriage by hand.You should remove the ink cartirdges and power it off by unplugging then plug it in and turn it on and see if it asks for ink cartridges. Then you put them in and try again.

Did you upgrade the driver to a Win 7 driver?

If you did not, go to the Lexmark website www.lexmark.com Go to the driver download page and get the Win 7 driver for your printer.

Be very careful to follow the directions and completley remove the printer's software prior to installing the new driver.

hi my name is scott, what works for me? i shutdown my computer then mthe scanner works sometime that happens on printing, if your scanner is not scanning, but telling to re-aline the lines in scanning, just shutdown the computer.

It sounds like the roller for the printer is bad.... Honestly I'm not a fan of lexmark so I would highly suggest you get a new printer as lexmark doesn't normally make great quality products.

Try using the Lexmark Productivity Studio. To access that, on your computer, click on Start > All Programs > Lexmark 2600 Series > Lexmark Productivity Studio.If that doesn't show up as an option, install the Lexmark Productivity Studio using the installation CD of your printer.

Its don't Ask for your RAM (Read Only Memory), but it's require Hard Disk memory... so please check free space in your Hard disk... if its less than 1000mb then free some space........

Try turning off the printer. power on and do open the software related to the printer. choose maintenance and then align cartridge.
