Sentry Safe Fire-Safe Home/Office Safe - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Can't open safe!
If it still doesn't open after you replace the batteries then it is probably do to it being Jamed. I'd suggest tapping it with a bit of force but if it still doesn't open to go and see if someone can fix it.

Combo for sentry safe 1310
Be prepared to wait! The customer service department was slow before Master Lock acquired Sentry Safe, now they are even worse. As a locksmith I've had the opportunity to work on a number of safes over the years and these are hardly worth what you pay for them other than the false sense of security you get from owning one. They are really only good for papers, but nothing of real value that you need to secure. There are some tutorials on Utube on opening these poorly made safes rather quickly, then go buy another throw away or a buy good safe that isn't so cheaply made.

I have changed the battery
if you have changed the batteries, the code may have reset itself to the default code.
you should be able to find this in the instruction manual or on the manufacturers website.
i am sorry i cannot give you the codes myself, but i do not feel it is appropriate to put default codes for a safe on an open website

I have a sentry fire safe and the plastic gear
If someone attempts to open the locked safe by forcing the safe handle to the open position it can strip the plastic gear. So even if you have the correct safe code and the batteries are fully charged the safe will not open. If you can lay the safe on its side (hinge side on the floor) gravity and banging the side of the safe with a hammer may cause the bolts to unlock. Unfortunately, if this doesn't work you will need a locksmith to open the safe.
Good luck.
