try it on another phone it may be the set itself make sure , it may not be compatiable with this phone , goto youtube and see fi there is an answer there ,
The generic PIN (Which is what I'm guessing you need) for most bluetooth devices is either 0000, or 1234. Please try those and see if that solves your problem.
Mono or Headset profile: this profile allows you to listen to music only.
Handsfree, A2DP and AVRCP: This Bluetooth profiles allows you to listen to music, make and answer calls.
The thing that you need to verify first is if both devices supports any of the Handsfree, A2DP or AVRCP. Example, the phone supports A2DP but the Jabra headset only supports the Headset profile, then the two devices will not allow you to make or answer calls.
But if the phone supports A2DP and the Jabra supports AVRCP, then they should work.
If you are able to verify that both devices supports any of the Handsfree, A2DP or AVRCP, but still not working, one of the devices is not responding correctly. You need to contact either the phone or the headset manufacturer.
Go to tools or tools and settings. Scroll down to blue tooth setting. Make sure the Bluetooth is on and near you phone, The phone should recognize the bluetooth and will ask if you want to pair them. Just click yes and it should work.
After registering the bluetooth device ( in the settings> accessory settings> register bluetooth device) you must then go to the audio options in the settings >accessory settings >audio options and switch the input from do not use to use to the name of your bluetooth to turn on the connection from the bluetooth to your ps3
After having the device recognized by the PS3, just go all the way to the right where your friends are listed and select "Start Chat" and select voice chat (it is not necessary to invite anyone into a chat to do this). Go to the little Tool Box for "Chat Settings", then select "Audio Device Settings" and make sure the Jabra BT2080 is selected for Output and Input.
If anything, I found a video that shows you how's it done attached.
Have you already tried to put your headset in pairing mode first? Anyway, to do it, starting with it turned off, press and hold the on/off button for some 5 seconds, until the indicator light is steadily lit (it will flash as it was being turned on, but don't release the button at that phase). Then, make your phone'sbluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, your headset should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros); By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location. Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
hold down the power button until it flashes red and blue and then your phone will be able to find it. I already had my phone searching for blue tooth devices and then i held the power button down and it worked great. No code was needed with my Iphone
