To reset your MOTOBLUR password, click on forgot password on the MyMOTOBLUR account web site.

Synchronizing your password between MOTOBLUR Owner's Portal and your handset

Once your password has been reset on MOTOBLUR, you will get a notification on your handset stating "Blur Account access denied" or "Blur Username or password incorrect." This occurs when the MOTOBLUR password has changed on the MOTOBLUR Owner's Portal. For security purposes, you are required to enter the new password on your phone to continue to use the MOTOBLUR services. Do the following:

1.Touch and slide your finger down over the Status bar to view your notifications. Tap the item stating the MOTOBLUR account access error, to open and view it.

2.An error message is displayed informing you that you have been denied access to your MOTOBLUR account, and that you should re-enter your password. Tap OK

3.The handset displays the Change password screen with two boxes, one with your user name, and the other with your password. Both boxes are auto-filled.

4.In the box labeled Password, delete the a uto-filled entry, and enter the new password you selected on the MOTOBLUR Owner's Portal. Then, tap OK. If you receive an error requesting that you re-enter your Blur username/password, tap OK. You may need to tap OK anywhere from 1 - 3 times.

5.The new password is updated and you will be allowed access to MOTOBLUR Services again.

6.Note that the message in the Notification bar does not disappear. To make it go away, tap on Clear notifications in the Status bar.
