hello dear , this problem is due to a high voltage fault from the electricity . I have read your message , before you go with your TV to the tech support just loose the TV from behind and check if all cables inside the main board are connected in there positions , second step try to loose the main board and clean it well with alcohol liquid then wait till it dries well .after that , reconnect all cables in there positions and try to turn it on , if it gives you the same fault , that means you should replace a new main board

sounds like the power board needs to be replaced. stand by the TV when you turn it on and listen real close near the top where the vents are at to see if it hums. also look in the vents to make sure the backlighting works. if not start with the power board. one other trick is to turn off the TV and unplug it. hold the power button in for 30 seconds or more the plug it back in and turn it on. If that does not work replace the power board

One thing I learned about universal remotes . They do not support all models.
