Videos require a card that can write date very fast. The card that came with your camera is probably a class 2. You need at least a class 6.

Having gone over a month without a response to my query, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader solved the problem.

Hi, I would seggest to take it to be repaired. But you can try this, Take the batteries out for 30 minutes and replace with new ones.Good luck.

This means that the camera recognizes it has been connected to a computer. You can now download pictures from the camera. Just do it from the computer, not the camera.

The wrist strap hole is on the upper right corner of the outside body when you are looking through the viewfinder. Thread the skinny end (or one end) of the wrist strap through that strap hole. As soon as a little loop (like 1 inch) is poking out the other side, thread the thicker (or the other) end of the strap through that loop that's poking out of the strap hole. pull tight.

You may use any SD card up to 2GB in size or any SDHC card up to 8GB in size. The speed won't make much difference, unless you use a card reader to download photos. Stick with any of the major brands (such as Lexar, PNY, or SanDisk) and you'll be okay.
