Download onto computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

How do you set date and time on vivicam F126?

Try clicking the middle round button and going forward until you ind date and then time. Click on them and you'll be able to set the date/time. My camera id the same but it's the s124. They're both similar and really works the same, exactly. It's just the different number. I hope this helps! :)

Date and time on my pic

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every pic in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Test your batteries and attempt to turn on the device. You shouldn't need to use a USB to USB micro slim cable

Buttons not working batteries

Check if they are the ones that fit to this exact camera. Sometimes cameras don't "read" random batteries and they have to be the one's that the manufacturer says (check the manual).

Won't turn on

Did you check if the batteries are inserted correct? + to + and - to - Also it could be you have the wrong batteries. Depending of what you use, always be sure all batteries are the same, charged and suited for your camera. Most of the time even new Ni-CD rechargeable batteries won't work, because the voltage is to low, according to Ni-MH or alkaline batteries. Checking the voltage of every cell with a multimeter could tell you for sure the batteries are good. Voltage should be jus above the voltage printed on the battery when measured. Never use manganese (Zinc-Carbon) batteries, because they don't have enough capacity to let a camera work correct.

When i make a video the sound dosent wor

The 5022 is designed as a still camera, with some video capabilities grafted on. As such it does not record sound. You can add a soundtrack using video editing software on your computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

My charger does not work, I need a new one

Bear in mind that the Vivitar 5022 does not charge batteries. It uses standard AAA batteries. If you want to use rechargeables, you must charge them outside the camera using any AAA recharger such as those available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store.
