Remove printhead and let it sit in a window cleaning solution and warm water mix 50/50. See video on how to remove printhead:

Your printer ink cartridges may be dry or empty and printhead may also be dry. Try the fix in this video and order some cheap ink cartridges off ebay. They always work for me. Example link below: https://www.ebay.com/itm/382706888626

Couple things: Look inside a printer with flashlight and make sure there is nothing in the way. Remove printhead and see if error goes away. See this video where printer has similar code and is fixed:

The chip may have gotten moved or damaged on the cartridge, Try this fix(shown on a different, but similar model):

First try removing the printhead and cleaning it manually by soaking in a cleaning solution(50% windex or similar and 50% hot water). ALso the ink cartridges amy be dry even if the ink level shows normal level. Get a set on ebay for a very low cost and clean the printhead and you should not have a problem with printing at all. using windows explorer, go into windows/system/spool/printers and erase contents in last item

Does your printer have a CD disk to install it on your computer. Go into My Computer and delete or remove everything that is associated with that printer then reinstall using your disk. That will reset it back to factory installation.

There is dust & ink build up on the printer head. Take it apart. Wipe it off by hand with print head cleaner & lint free cloth.

Hi, do note that even if you are printing in black, the printer requires that you have installed functioning cyan (blueish), magenta (reddish) and yellow cartridges as well.

What program are you printing from? That is what decides the color choice.

Every time I had this problem it was the printer head. Try removing the cartridges, then the printer head. Be sure the head is seated firmly. Try printing again. The printer head expires long before it's suppose to so don't be surprised if this is the problem.
