If this is confirmed then the OPTICAL HEAD must be replaced with the same type. Before this is done you can clean the lens as a last attempt.
Use all precaution when replacing the head, need to remove the static shorting in the new head before replacing. Take help.

My samsung ht-p10 theater system

Generally speaking, an amp protects itself from heat, shorts and overloads by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'naked'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced hands-on tech.

Check for loose speaker connections as a root cause for intermittent shutdown.

My HT-P10 displays "protection" and

The amplifier has a bad channel or is bad in general, and will need replacing. In some cases, it's a separate board and can be replaced itself, but in others, everything is on one board(except the power supply unit) and warrants just having he unit replaced.

I have sound when i play a dvd but no picture

What connection are you using to connect the theater system to the TV.

Direct video cable or component video Pr, Pb and Y inputs?
Refer page 13 of the manual. (scroll down to enter verification code provided for download)

You will also have to make sure the TV setup is selected for the correct connection both on the Theater system and the TV. Refer page 33 of the manual.
It might help me to provide a clearer idea if you also mention the make and model no. of your TV. Did this work before?

Please rate the solution if you found it helpful or post a comment if you want further assistance.

Will only play copied disks. will not play

this is because you used original disk`s from different areas. Try this:
1. Open tray and remove any disks in tray.
2. Close tray.
1. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
2. Reconnect to mains
3. Turn on player with remote.
4. Press ENTER on remote.
5. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9. Using keys on remote.
6. Press ENTER on remote. (The player will power off.)
7. Switch on power from remote.
8. Player is now Region Free.

You could try cleaning the drive with a dvd cleaner disk and also a can of compressed air to blow into the drawer. It may just be dirty. Good luck! I hope this helps you.

Pairing Samsung remote to Yamaha RX-V361

Normally makers don't play ball between each other. Yes if it was a Samsung Television and a Samsung Receiver A/V System. Or if you have something like a Cable Box or Satellite System that is made to interact with other makes. Or if it is a Universal Remote. I think you were just lucky that it happened to use the same frequency. Look in the manual for a scan command. https://www.google.com/search?q=Connect+Samsung+OLED+S90+remote+to+Yamaha+RX-V361+via+optical ..

Hi, I'm using the Samsung HT-E330K. It works but does not speak out. The power display is fine but no sound

If your Samsung HT-E330K home theater system is not producing any sound even though the power display seems to be working fine, there are several potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try: 1. **Check Volume Levels:** Make sure the volume on the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable) is turned up and not muted. 2. **Check Audio Source:** Verify that the correct audio source is selected on the home theater system. If you're using multiple input sources (DVD, TV, AUX, etc.), make sure the right input source is selected. 3. **Audio Cables:** Ensure that all audio cables are securely connected to both the home theater system and the audio source (TV, DVD player, etc.). Sometimes, loose or faulty cables can result in no sound. 4. **Speaker Connections:** Check that all speakers are properly connected to the home theater system and that the speaker wires are securely inserted into the appropriate terminals. 5. **Audio Settings:** Go through the audio settings on both the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable). Ensure that the correct audio output settings are configured. 6. **Mute Function:** Double-check that the mute function on the remote control or the home theater system itself is not engaged. 7. **Speaker Balance:** Check the speaker balance settings to ensure that sound is not unintentionally directed to one side or speaker. 8. **Reset to Default Settings:** If you've made any changes to the settings recently, consider performing a factory reset to revert to the default settings. 9. **Firmware Update:** If there is a firmware update available for your home theater system, consider updating the firmware as it might resolve any software-related issues. 10. **Test with Different Source:** Test the home theater system with different audio sources to rule out issues with a particular device. 11. **Test Speakers:** If possible, disconnect each speaker one at a time and test the audio to identify if a particular speaker or speaker wire is causing the issue. 12. **Check Speaker Impedance:** Ensure that the speakers' impedance matches the specifications of the home theater system. Mismatched impedance can affect sound quality. 13. **Contact Support:** If you've tried these steps and still have no sound, consider contacting Samsung customer support or seeking assistance from a professional technician for further troubleshooting and repair. Remember to refer to your device's user manual for specific instructions related to your model.
