The only way to find and replace the battery (bank) for most of the bluetooth headsets is to find one suitable by physical dimensions. You will most probably find a cheap chinese noname battery (bank), which will perform much worse the original one, however this, most probably, the only way to give your headset the second chance and second life. You can definitely find used good quality bank in some similar equipment, however its remaining capacity will be unpredictable. At first you should disassemble your device and measure the bank sizes, then find a new bank of the same or less sizes. Look for your product service manual (rare for headsets) or find disassembly manual or videos at first. Please note you should do resolder battery (bank) terminals (small wires) to the board in most cases.

Strat with headset 'OFF' then hold power button until light flashes blue and red or solid blue, then search for headset on phone, pass key should be 0000, 1111, 1234.

I had the same problem and I contacted LG first by email, this was the response: Please contact our Customer Care line at
1-800-793-8896 Ext 2, and they will be able to assist you with a
replacement. I called the number and they agreed to send me a replacement piece free. I got it in 5 days. May I also suggest that you ask for a manual to be sent also because I cant seem to find one and I would love to activate Name Alert for caller ID during drive time.

The LG web site (lg.com) does not list that headset. Perhaps it is an HBM-260? I suggest you call LG and ask for a user manual. Their number is 800-243-0000. Or, go to their support page (lg.com/us) and do a Live Chat between 8am-8pm CST Mon-Fri

are you trying to pair this device if so you need to press and hold button until light stays on hen you will need to place your phone in bluetooth setting on and in discovering mode hard to say without model number.or this device may have a faulty battery.

The generic PIN (Which is what I'm guessing you need) for most bluetooth devices is either 0000, or 1234. Please try those and see if that solves your problem.

you can try update its firmware or choose another charger or power source.

Try and find a similar charger and test the device on that. if you have the same results than either the battery in the device is completely dead, or the device itself has malfunctioned and needs to be repaired/replaced. if the device is still under warranty you can try and contact the manufacturer for help or a repair/replacement.

your blue tooth device is in discovery mode you must pair it with your phone again,it just you held the power button down to long turning it on ,most blue tooth manufactures use the power button for the discovery mode,in case you don't have the pairing pin code again most blue toooth manufactures use a 4 digit factory code,they are as follows 0000,1234,1111 or 9999 i hope this helps.And if your blue tooth drained the battery and you need to charge it before you proceed ,to put it into discovery mode hold the power button down for 6 to 10 seconds when turning your blue tooth device on.i hope this helps
