Jabra BT2050 Bluetooth Headset - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I bought a jabra bt 2050...i cant get the led
Try to press and hold the center on/off button for 10 seconds, this will put the Jabra BT2050 into paring mode.
Assumptions made:
1) The BlackBerry is Bluetooth enabled.
2) The Jabra BT2050 is fully charged.
Hope this help.

I am able to hear
You have not mentioned the make & model of your mobile phone. You must set your bt device as default device and set it as headset device instead of handsfree device. You may also check the options in your audio player for bluetooth settings as bluthtooth headset/stereo headset

I need to pair my bt2050 up to a new phone,it was
Hi Barbara,
Please follow the below steps, i hope your problem is resolved :-
- Make sure that your phone's blue tooth is out of hidden mode and , it now shows up as shown to all, in the connectivity settings.
- Make sure that you delete the pairing from the other phone , via it's blue tooth settings, if you are not using the phone and it's switched off , then you don't have to worry about it.
- Switch off the bluetooth and restart it , so that it's ready to accept new connections.
- Now go in your blue tooth option and search for a new paired device , it should reflect your Jabra blue tooth.
- If the above method does not work , sadly your phone does not support the Jabra blue tooth.
- You should also try connecting this blue tooth to someone else's nokia phone to check compatibility , if it's compatible with the other models, that means X3 is an exception to this compatibility.
Hope this helps.

Cant pair phone with jabra
How to pair and Send Music to a Phone Via Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a type of technology found in electronics that allows you to send and receive signals and files wirelessly. Most commonly used in cell phone headsets, many people also use Bluetooth to transfer data. There is no set protocol for all devices, so instructions for use vary from one device to another. Check out the following loose guidelines for sending music from one Bluetooth phone to another, or from a Bluetooth-enabled computer to phone.
Instructions
Verify that Bluetooth is turned on or enabled in both your devices. Most cell phones will have a Bluetooth menu in their Settings or Tools. For computers, you may see a Bluetooth icon in your system tray. If unsure, check your product manual for specific instructions.
Follow the instructions to pair (connect) your two devices. If you are asked for a passkey, try entering 0000 which is usually the default for any device.
When prompted on the other device, give permission for the original device to access it.
If transferring from phone to phone
Navigate to the song you want to send and hit the button that takes you to the options menu. Choose the option to send your song; depending on the brand of phone it may say "Send" or "Move."
The next menu should ask if you want to use a text message or Bluetooth to move or send the file. Choose Bluetooth.
When prompted on the phone receiving the file, accept it.
If transferring from computer to phone
Look for an option to browse the contents of the phone. Navigate to the Music or Multimedia folder on your phone.
Navigate to the place on your computer where your music file is kept in a separate window.
Drag the file from its original location to the correct folder on your phone.
Accept the file when prompted by your phone.
Tips & Warnings
Pairing is usually the most difficult part of the process. Make sure you read your manual on both devices if it isn't working for you. If you don't see the menu to move or send your music, your phone manufacturer may not allow it. Check your manual or with your carrier's tech support website. This process usually applies to MP3s and not ringtones.

I connected to the computer with a blutooth device
go to control panel -- open sound and audio devices - open audio tab and select the default device back to realtek(motherboard) device.
When you installed bluetooth it automatically changed the default device settings.

I purchased the Jabra BT2035
you need to intorduce again the jabra blutooth to your device. deleting jabra from the list make it forget the connection.
set your jabra to find mode by pressing the poer button for more than 5 seconds wait to blink, and find it using your device. it will again ask for a passcode and it will connect afterward.
