After a rainday our Sony

The error code 95:00 indicates a problem with the cameras flash system and there is most likely some corrosion in the camera as well from the rain. This can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

If this response has been of any help to you, please be sure and give a positive vote for me on FixYa.com.

Sony HDR-XR520V will not allow me to export video

Can you see the camcorder as an extra drive? If you can, you can probably open it up to the DCIM folder and manually copy or move the pics and videos to a folder on your computer. If your new computer is running Windows 7, there may be an incompatibility issue, or some other conflict that will be hard to reconcile, without concerted effort and a lot of time.
The PMB utility may be corrupt, or the hard drive could have a bad sector, it's hard to say but entirely possible.
I would just work around it, if you can, and use the drive folder in Computer to transfer the files to a folder, if that works.
You might check with Sony for a patch if there is some incompatability with the program and your new computer, here's their support site:

Good luck, hope this helps, and thanks for using FixYa.

Sony DCRA-C162 Camcorder. I need a replacement battery for the DCRA-C162. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Question edited for clarity, add full 'make model (what it is)'. Question moved from Cars and Trucks category. Searching for your manual keeps bringing up this manual https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/2698/26988801M.pdf Looking at that manual Page 16, it states the battery pack as 'NP-FP50', and that turns up batteries for $15. https://www.google.com/search?q=NP-FP50 ..

Sony Handycam CCD-TRV68 Flashing No Tape and Eject Symbol

If it were worth repairing, as a Sony agent, I would replace all of the capacitors and clean up the board then reset the mechanism and test. Probably too old being 2001 vintage.

It is not even listed on their website. https://www.sony.ca/en/electronics/support/cameras-camcorders/manuals/results?query=V569# There are normally two batteries, a small one that just saves memory and runs the operating system, and a larger battery that actually powers the camera. Try contacting Sony direct There is a bit of help here, but not enough. https://www.google.com/search?q=SONY+V569 ..

Sony DCR-DVD200 camcorder not turning on after trying to fix it.

The best thing you can do now is to take it to a specialist and get them to do the repairs. Camcorders have a lot of electronics in them and can be easily damaged if your a not an experienced repairer. You might also have to consider that this camcorder might not be repairable.

Handycam CCD-TRV70 Hi8 camcorder. Why is it suddenly playing all tapes fuzzy, with no audio?

The record / playback heads probably need cleaning, using a compatible cleaning tape. Failing that, it is either damaged or broken.

Blue screen on TRV260 playback

TRV260 nail-polish head attack: eek. Acetone is a powerful solvent capable of dissolving plastic parts, plastic gears, housing and insulation. Besides that, it leaves a residue of microscopic crystals which have probably contaminated the highly-polished metal head drum. Not to mention gumming up the bushes and bearings. With your next camera, rather use a head-cleaner DV-tape.
