How to fix battery test error 3600:0852

If you have replaced it with a brand new battery, I'd check to see if there are any plastic coverings on the contacts of the battery, if there isn't try letting your battery charge up to full before trying to use it.

White screen virus

I had the same. If it's a laptop, it's probably not a virus. Jut a connection that came loose with a lot of opening and closing.

Only 1/3 of the computer screen is usable the other 2/3 has lines and the mouse only works on the 1/3 so I can't log on, What can I do?

Hello,Try pressing on F8 once it's starting up to boot to safe mode. Use the arrow keys to highlight safe mode and hit enter. If you see the same problem inside safe mode then you need to replace the monitor of your computer. If you don't see it in safe mode, then you just need to update the video driver of your computer. You can use RadarSync to scan and update the drivers. David

Dell studio laptop wont start up

Try another Cord/Charger. Has there been any damage? Drop? A pull on the cord while plugged in damaging the AC jack? What happens if you remove the battery and use the AC cord only? Post what happens when you push the on/off switch, Fan spins? LED's Blink? Anything on the screen? Have you reseated the Memory mods, removed and tested the HDD? Tried a System Restore/Recovery? Need more info.

Need the motherboard serial number

Forgive me for stating the obvious but it's on the motherboard. You probably need to dismantle the laptop to find it. Try using google and type in your model number followed by disassembly guide and see what you get.You should find a video or something with description and pictures how to take it apart step by step.

Dell laptop runs fast

When my fan runs loud this usually means the heatsink behind the fan is clogged with dust. So your fan is working harder to get the same amount of cooling. Just go buy a can of compressed air belower and spray that clogged dust out of your heatsink

Internet barely works

Step 1: Most of the programs running in the background of your computer start automatically during PC reboot. These applications were added to the Windows startup menu during default installation. However, you probably do not need all of the programs that are currently running on your computer all the time. This only slows down your PC and the reboot time. Fortunately, you can access the Windows startup menu and remove the programs you do not need to have running automatically. Turning off the programs shuts them down until you enable them again through the "Start" menu. Go to the "Start" menu, type "msconfig" in the "Start Search" box and press "Enter" to start the System Configuration utility. Click the "Startup" tab in the System Configuration window. Uncheck the programs that you want to turn off and stop from running in the background. Click "Apply" and "OK" to save the new settings. Restart your computer.

Problem with bootmgr with dell xps 8100

Bootmgr means Boot manager error. Either you have a hard disk drive problem or your OS(operating system software) is corrupted. Run diagnostics to see if your hard drive or anything else hardware wise has a problem. If all tests pass then your OS is probably corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.
