you might be out of memory delete all the old messages and old information. to reformat the phone, or factory reset the phone from the main screen dial 2945#*# and the green call key per lg. this will reset the phone and reformat the software to original. I hope this helps sorry for your troubles!

one way to do it is, copy the files to your memory card, insert your memory card to your computer and drag and drop files. if your computer doesn't have a memory card slot, consider borrowing usb memory card reader from a friend and start copying the files from your memory card to your pc.
if the files you are sending is of big capacity, there is a possibility that phone may restart due to low memory, while you are sending files, your phone memory becomes low, they are sharing memories page, it may be the cause. try sending a small capacity, like images, and check if it will off. if this happens, then, go to your nearest service center and have it check.
