Hi, You may try to use to use a different charger that will fit in to your phone or a different battery. It might be a failure on the battery.

No the phone is not broken, the problem is that the flexi ribbon that slides the phone and allows information be read from the main panel of the phone is weak and cannot relay messages to the screen. So the solution is for you to disassemble the phone and replace the flex with a new one, then you reassemble the phone back together.
