How to configure dmz on linksys wireless n router?
- Log into your router. (If you need help how to do it let me know!)
- Go to th "Application & Gaming" tab.
- click on "DMZ"
- choose "Enable"
- Enter the IP address of the computer you want to put in the DMZ.
- Click "Save Settings"
Some notes:
- Putting a computer in a DMZ is pretty risky, because all ports to this computer are opened. Make sure that all recent patches are applied and your virus software is up to date! A more secure solution is to use portforwarding. (See this site how to do that for a specific software for your router.)
- Your computer should be set to a static IP. For two reasons:
- A) DMZ will not work if your DHCP server (your router) assigns at one point a different IP address to your computer,
- B) If a different computer gets the Ip address assigned that you specified in your DMZ settings, then that machine is exposed.
If you don't know how to assign a static IP address, let me know and I walk you through the steps.

My router needs password to reinatall it all i get
First you can try the default username and password, both are "admin". If that doesn't work you'll need to reset the router. On the back there is a small hole with the reset button inside. Use something small like a pin or paperclip to push that reset button down. Hold it in for 30 seconds. This will reset all of the router settings. Then use the username and password "admin" to login.
My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?
If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired an
employment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut.
They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
