"Internet Download manager has been registered
1. Exit IDM from the taskbar before entering the serial.
2. Disconnect active connections to the internet.
3. Then go to the directory C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc and locate the file 'hosts'
4. Open the "hosts" file with "notepad".
5. on the last line enter the following address as shown and save.

127.0.0.1 www.internetdownloadmanager.com



6. Now, again enter the "fake serial" and wait for few seconds.
7. your IDM is registered again.
8. No wonder you would be facing this problem again but without panic use a "new fake key" ( this time steps 3,4 and 5 are not required, the only thing required is "a keygen" for generating a new key. For IDM 5.14 Dr.Carbon Keygen is used ).

Hard drives can go out in any model. If you have created a restore set, you can replace the hard drive with the same size or larger.Hope this helps

Probably incompatible screenWhat you should do when buying a new screen is to take the old one out, take a photo of the label on the back or make a note of all the numbers on the labels and give that to the people supplying the new screen.That way you get the correct one. Especially if you are buying a compatible screen and not and original equipment manufactures screen.

How to change bios setting in vista os
Bios settings are independant of whatever version of windows you havebecause it's part of the motherbaord not the operating system.Most computers allow access to the bios by pressing either the Delete key, the F2 key or various others depending on which bios you have.If you want to get in to it try switching on and pressing Delete as soon as it comes on before it loads windows. If that does'nt work switch off and try again with the F2 key or other F keys. You should get in.Just be careful what you change when you are in there.If you make a wrong setting and it stops booting up you can go back in to it and select the bios default settings and it should be ok again.

What is a inverter on a presario v3000 moniter?
It's the controller for the light inside the screen.The backlight in the screen is a high voltage device that needs the inverter to boost the voltage up enough to trigger the light to come on.Usually if the inverter goes wrong you will only get a really dim display on the screen.

No internet connection and sound.
you might have put in the wrong password or user id check to make sure you have put these in correctly first make sure the caps lock is on/off what ever applies to your user and password id that you provided to your ISP also you might have to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled make sure your modem/routers settings are correct ie:password user name,firewall settings to allow your internet to connect also test the lead/s whether usb or ethernet you might check your modem first to make sure that you are getting a connection click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down network adapters + expand Ethernet driver you might see a yellow question mark? This means you need to update the driver right click you will have options to update driver disable uninstall or select properties general you will have the options to troubleshoot or to update driver rollback or uninstall a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver right click to install driver last resort ring your ISP internet sevice provider get them to check your modem for internet access online now for the soundif your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the (((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar if his does not fix the problem have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer make sure you have an earth ******** before touching any parts inside your computerhope this helps

I just checked the HP-Compaq web site for Windows 7 drivers (click here for the site), and they do not provide Windows 7 drivers.

There are Windows Vista drivers that may work with Windows 7, but it will be hit or miss.

There is no reason why your HP should not accept a 500Gb HDD. The fact that other systems couldn't use it points to a problem with that HDD.

Microphone can't use
click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it or select audio from the microphone drop down list make sure you have the right one selected and in the volume box make sure the microphone box has a tick in it or select the voice tab and make sure that you have the right media selected also select volume make sure the box for microphone has a tick in it hope this helps

For that you need to install sound driver.

Click on above link and select your os and model then download audio driver and install then it will work fine.
