This model was released in the Vista era but is not horribly old. Restore the computer to working order by utilizing the repair and restoration utility on your XP system disk.

Insert the XP disk into the computer.

Restart the computer.

Press any key when prompted to boot from the disk.

Highlight the drive containing XP and press "R," repairing the operating system boot files and removing the log-on loop.

Not surer what your question i, but...You can program your "Power Button" to do a lot of things or even nothing. To program go to "Control Panel" "Hardware and Sounds" then select "Power Options". Hope this helps.

Its important to try and distinguish where exactly the noise is coming from the most typical example of this is the PSU fan (Power Supply Fan). The above also is very correct but its better to eliminate each point of failure.

A steady or Amber(orange) blinking power button indicates a low voltage problem. This can be caused by a defective power supply or a defective motherboard. apparently there is a system crash happened over there ,but it's not the only cause ,maybe it's a RAM fault ,, you can firstly try to replace the RAM and check to see if the problem go away ,, and if it's not you should consider format your PC and replace the Operating system

rmove the memory from the slot and clean it with a neat cloth and insert and switch on the computer if still not working remove the processor heat sink and clean it with a cloth apply some thin layer of heatsink solvent and fix them tightly also remove the cmos battery from the motherboard and switch on the computer then shutdown the computer and replace camos battery
