I AM NOT GOING TO AWNSER YOU Q BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT THAT IS THE SAME THING THAT IS HAPPING TO OUR SO IF YOU GET THE SOLUTION BY ANY CHANCE WILL YOU LET ME KNOW
I had a similar issue when my kids mixed rechargeable and regular batteries in the Wii balance board. The acid leaked and the springs corroded. But I figured out a quick fix - see photos. The springs look just like the spring-end of a safety pin, so I just snipped the ends of two safety pins and fixed them in with needle-nose pliers. Safety pins conduct electricity and the fix works fine. Cheers.
Hello,1. You need to put Balance Board compatible game disk in the console.2. Select Disk Chanell and press Start3. Remove SD Card slot cover on the console and the battery cover on the Balance Board4. Press and hold for 2-5 sec the SYNC button on the Balance board. You will see a blinking light.5. Press the Sync button on the Wii console and after a while you will get non-blinking light. This will mean that your device is synchronized and you are able to use your Balance Board.Good Luck!Don't forget to close back the covers you've removed earlier.
1. Try replacing the batteries in the balance board. 2. Clean off your "Sensor Bar"3. Move your "Sensor bar" to a location where it can better receive signals from your "Balance Board".
Disconnect the wii from the power cable and let it sit. Then reconnect it and resync the remotes. If this doesn't work make sure you have the most current wii update.
1) Find another battery operated device in your house that you do not use and remove the springs from it then place (glue if possible) into your wii balance board battery compartment.
2) If that isn't an option you could try to take some kind of small metal to keep it snug in the compartment while still being able to work.
There you are concentrating with your daily yoga exercise, all focused with your stretching and breathing. All of a sudden you see " PLEASE STEP OFF ME AND PRESS A". Annoying isn't it?
You try all possible ways to fix it; restart the console, replace the battery and called Nintendo Support but still nothing happens. Nintendo support tells you to send it in for a repair (since it is out of warranty) for $50. Kinda steep but still cheaper than buying a new board that costs $120.
You aren't sure. You don't feel spending $50 for a repair and you can't afford a day without a balance board.
Worry no more. It is comforting to know that you are not the only one who is stuck on this loop. Save all the moolahs for something else. One thing you need to check is the STRESS SENSORs and only takes 10 minutes of your precious time to fix this.
The FIX:
Take the batteries out.
Take out the screws from each foot in every corner of the board using a Philips screwdriver. Remove the back cover.
The sensors are located on each corner, it is a metal plate. Loosen the screws using TORX screwdriver.
Re seat the small metal plates by putting it back. Don't screw too tight.
Put the cover back and foot on. Put the batteries back in.
If this fix does not work for you, it is indeed time to send it in for a repair.
Here is a video tutorial on disassembling the Balance Board.
When you power on the wii fit board, does the light flash continuously? If so, you will need to sync your board with your wii again. You can get instructions on how to do so here: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/ts/balanceBoard.jsp
Put in a Wii Fit compatible game. Start the game up. Once you bypass the wrist strap safety message open up the SD card slot on the front of the Wii and remove the battery cover on the Wii Fit Balance Board. Press and release the sync button. The blue light will start blinking. Then press and release the red sync button on the Wii console.
If this does not fix the problem make sure the battery level for the balance board is not low. Change the batteries anyway just incase.
If that still does not fix the problem, make sure the game you are using is Wii Fit compatible.
