Yes the problem is with your touch..
I think the sensor or the liquid filled in would have disturbed due to minor damages like pressing the screen tightly or by putting your mobile down..
The service center will make a repair for this and would charge around 600 to 700 indian money value.
If its under warranty period then you can claim and repair for free..

This is a commong issue with this phone after the update. Even ericsson cannot resolve the issue themselves. the only solution is to format the card but this will delete everything inside the card. You may also purchase a new card and format it then copy the data from the old card to the new card the old card will now serve as a backup card.
