From your description it is a factory defect and should be returned for a replacement.

i think in 3 possible solutions: 1- try to charge it with another charger 2- connect your mp4 to a computer and run a virus scan, after this try it. if don't, format your mp4 and try to charge it again. 3- the charge system of your mp4 is damaged, so take it to the technical support for to repair it.

When you buy it, it comes with a USB cable and a charger, you juste have to plug it in and it will recharge.

Welcome to Fixya. It seems that the problem is caused by the battery of your device. It wont take any charge.

You can check the warranty of your device nad if still have warranty you can send it for RMA

In this case I'd suggest that you format your player. Contents may be removed by using this function. So make sure to back up your contents. You can sync your player with Windows media payer version 10 or above.

Here is how to format it:

1. Connect the MP3 player to a working USB port. Locate the drive created by the unit, generally just called Removable Disk, with a letter in Parenthesis. Drive letters vary depending on your system configuration.
2. Right click on the removable drive icon which is your player's icon and select format from the drop down menu.

Your MP3 player will now start formating. Follow onscreen instructions and disconnect when format is completed.

MP3 players have a reset somewhere on the chassis, you should see a small pin hole, use a safety pin and hold it down for 60 seconds to clear the processor so it can reset.

Go to the explore mode and you will see your card there.

im sorry with a computer stuff that you delete is stored untill more stuff is deleted to write over the top but with stuff like this it is not and if it was deleted from the pc even it will not store them as the files are not native im sorry to give you bad news buy i have answered your question and even though i knew the answer i checked for a long time to see if any programs could restore stuff but *** i thought they cant as there is no were to store the files that have been deleted please make your payment as soon as possible as we have been having trouble with people not paying recently thanks
