Dear Sir,
I have samsungYP-U5 2gb mp3 palyer when i connecting to computer its not showing some folders..but when i remove from computer its showing which is not showing in computer .....how can i get that missed folders in computer pleas give advice

First of all, I would let the battery on the device die down(let the battery run until it switches off). Then plug it into a power source. Then see if it works. If that doesn't work I would consider returning it. It shouldn't delete your songs and there should be no long term negative effects.

MP3 players use the popular USB connection which sometimes produces errors while connecting. These messages are similar to the "Device Not Recognized" error received with various USB devices. Fixing an MP3 player is sometimes specific to the brand, but they are so similar that most can be fixed the same troubleshooting steps.
Instructions
Device Manager
Click "Start" and go to "Control Panel." Double-click "System" and locate the Hardware tab to find the Device Manager. Vista and Windows 7 users can just type "Device Manager' from the start menu.
Locate "Disk Drives" from the list and double-click "Portable Device." If there is an exclamation mark or other error on the device, go to the "Drivers" tab.
Click "Uninstall" and remove the player. Restart the computer and attach the player reinstall the drivers.
Anti-virus conflicts
Plug the player into a different computer to see if it gets recognized. If it does not, contact the manufacturer to find out if it is broken.
Turn off your anti-virus program on your PC if the device works on other computers. Reinstall the drivers using the device manager as described in section 1.
Plug in the player to confirm the connection.
Other solutions
Check the battery level and make sure the batter is not low or depleted. A low battery will sometimes prevent the player from connecting. Let it charge from the power cord, if necessary.
Verify that you have at least Service Pack 1 installed. Go to the Start menu and type "Run." Press Enter.
Type "Winver" in the box and press "Enter." The Windows version will be displayed along with any installed service packs. Download a service pack from Microsoft, if applicable.
Remove the player from the USB port and push a pin into the reset hole located on the bottom. Reconnect to see if the problem is resolved.
Check the connection to make sure it's secure. The cable should fit firmly into both the player and the computer. Connect to a different USB port if you have one available.
Download updated firmware or use the MP3 Recovery Tool provided under Resources (for Zen players).
Tips & Warnings
A bad cable will sometimes prevent a good connection. Use a different one to isolate the cause.
No power turn on
It is very possible that the battery cell is dead. Because your mp3 should be able to serve you for more than 15hrs. So if it was not lasting up to this long before it stopped to power on, then it means the battery cell is dead. It needs a change of battery which you might not be able to do yourself. So you can take it to your repairer. Goodluck.
How long do i charge
This player is rated for about 20 hours of play time acording the the Samsung website features page. It is likely that you will not always get a full 20 hours as that is under perfect conditions. As for charge time, it is always a good idea to charge overnight when you get a new battery operated device.

a virus has made you files hidden. first you can format the mp3 drive. or you can go to tools, then folder options, and then click 'show hidden files'. you also need to unclick hide system files and hide extensions, etc.

you probably hit a little slide on the side of the device, it should say hold, slide it to the opposite direction.
