You can get the software and the manual here. You don't need to use the Vivitar software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

When I attempt to take

The camera only holds one picture, and that only until you turn the power off. To take and store pictures, you need a memory card. The 8025 uses SD and SDHC cards up to 8GB in size. These cards are available at just about any department, electronics, and office-supply stores.

Record a video but when playing it you can't hear

The 8025 is designed primarily as a still camera with some video features grafted on. As such it captures images but not sounds. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on this camera.

Why are my pictures coming out blurry?

There are three main reasons for blurry pictures.Pictures may come out blurry if they're not focused properly. If some objects are sharp and others are not, this may indicate focusing on the wrong subject. This is usually not a major problem with compact point&shoot cameras since they have such a wide field of focus that almost everything will be in focus anyway. However, make sure the macro/far switch is set to the appropriate position for your picture.Subject motion. If moving objects blur while stationary objects remain sharp then the shutter speed is too slow to freeze the motion. Try switching to the sports mode, and/or add more light.Camera motion. This is the most common cause. Set your camera on a table or other stable surface and use the self-timer to take a picture. Take another one while holding the camera. Compare the two on your computer.
