1. Do U use "HP Solution Center" and if yes, do u see the cartridge in "estimated ink levels" window (if U don't, try clean the chip's pins on the cartridge)? 2. The "Photo Black" is pigment ink while the "Black" is dye ink.

have you already replaced the ink of your black?..

It seems print head clogged,this issue not related with cartridge, perform clean print heads 3-4 times & chk, if no result replace the print head (CN642A).. I won't suggest for manual cleaning for this print head unit.. Thanks for listening me..

Hi,This does not seems to be an issue with printer. However, make sure the alignment is complete. Press Setup button on printer front panel. Go to Tools - Press OKChoose Clean Printhead - Press OK and continue with the process. IF you are not able to print webpages or jpeg files, I would recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the software/drivers.Regards,Sean
