It seems you have some intruders are going through your phone without your consent,

However,its very possible for you to put a security code on your phone which will be known only to you,but ensure you don't forget it,here is how you do it.


From standby select menu>settings>the general tab>security>lock phone.

Try connecting the phone to a different laptop; preferably a Windows one to see if that succeeds. The Sony website doesn't list any Apple MacOS drivers, so not sure if it will ever work. Installing the drivers from: http://www.driverscape.com/download/sony-ericsson-w995 onto a Windows PC should let you download the pictures to that PC without any problem. Good luck !

Sony ericsson phones are notorious for this problem. Its a software prob. You can try and update the software on your handset via sony ericsson website, or take it back to the retailer and they will send it back to sony ericsson ( if you bought it from network retailer only) places like argos etc wont touch it. Try going to settings on your phone, below profiles it should say update.....select that and you should be able to get a newer software that might not have any bugs. good luck!!

Check settings - general - flight mode. It should be set to "Ask on startup" or something similar. Turn the phone off and on again. The flight mode question only comes when you turn the phone back on.
