My insignia tv will not turn on
If its total dead look for a fuse inside and if bad replace it. If any light comes on but set does not you would at the least need to open the set and inspect the power board for puffy filter caps and for voltages coming in and going out of that board.

Tv won't turn on. replaced bad caps and after some testing it turned out that the power supply board wasn't giving the supposed voltages.
This problem is not easily to be solved.Tries to changes all the capacitors components even if u think is good around the bad capacitors surrounding area. After that,if u still have the same problems. This problem could be any high voltage components parts like transformers to ICS power regulator.Trying to fix this power supply board probably beyond your ability and u must also have the tv power supply board original schematic and electron scope too . .To measure those power transformers and ics power regulator output.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,EBay.com to buy a whole new refurbish tv power supply board for the replacement that is ur best bet.
