I need to know if the Sensor harness (Kenmore part
that's for the dryer to sense if and when the clothes are dry to tell the timer to advance or shut off,the dryer should still start, did you check the thermal fuse located on top of the blower wheel housing, part 3392519,if that' good check the high limit located on the heater box part 279973 or the belt could be snapped, there's a belt switch so if the belt snaps the dryer won't start also the door switch could be bad, open the door and push the switch in,if it doesn't click it's bad and dryer won't start, these are the things i would check first, open the door and check the door switch, and make sure you have 240 volts coming to dryer with a meter remove the back cover where the cord connects and check it with a meter, then unplug dryer, remove bottom panel, reach in and check the belt, next remove the lint filter and remove the metal duct that the filter slides into, look at the top of blower wheel housing, you'll see two t-stats,on the left is the thermal fuse, remove one of the wires and read it out with meter,if that's good go to the heater box and check the t-stat all the way in back and the one in front of it,that's the two t-stats you get in the kit on the part number i gave you.if all these are good then you could have a bad motor or computer board but these are the best things to check, hope this helped you out and good luck with your repair
