There has to be some form of a fuse that is in the AC power line, it may be a square ceramic fuse or a regular cartridge fuse, chances are its blown if the set is dead after a lightning storm, unfortunately if you replace it there is a really good chance it will blow again, if it does then the rectifier diodes would be shorted and need replacing or you could replace the power supply if your unable to repair it yourself

I would suggest using dedicated input button on remote, not the menu on the tv. If you can skip setup screen that would be best. I have just looked at the manual for that tv, it tells you all you need to know, depending upon which input you used for your box. As I stated use the direct input button on the remote if you have it.

Check tv setting for audio. If off turn on. If you use a sound system make sure it is on and connected to your TV using hdmi from sound system to cabl box.You must have your remote able to turn on audio and tv at the same time. What boards did you replace. This is a power issue or an inverter.

Make sure that the power cord is plugged in and press Power on the TV and/or remote. Make sure that the correct video input source is selected (HDMI 2, etc). Try another channel; the station may be experiencing problems. You can also try power cycling the TV, by turning it off & unplugging it for a few minutes. Plug it back in, turn it on and restore settings back to factory defaults. If issues still persist, I would recommend pursuing repairs.

The problem with this is it's not just glass -Liquid Crystal Display- it's a matrix of liquid crystal cells, the screen also has like individual pixel color filters as well all this placed between two sheets of polaroid coated glass. It isn;t just so easy as to replace it like a regulare tv screen.
