You have to use LG tv remote and press input. Choose the option your blu-ray player is plugged into. Any option that is not grayed out has something plugged into it. ie., our cabel is componet2, our old vcr AV2, our dvd is HDMI3

I suspect you have your setup in HD and you are getting the widescreen version which fills the screen horizontally but not vertically. Play with the settings menu items until you get the image you like.

u cheak the VGA copestar of ur lcd it give the minmum voltage for light so replace the copestar and than cheak it i yhink u will see the majic

There is a way to tell if you have a bad board, or a bad panel.1. Make the room dark and turn on the TV. Can you see it light up? If so, does it stay lit or turn right back off?2. If the panel lights, but you have no picture, I would suspect the T-con. Some units now have the T-con incorporated with the main board, so you will need to check.3. If you never get any light at all, then I would suspect the power supply.4. If you only get light for a second or two, then you have a bad panel.

My TV does this too. i know how to remove the white screen but the top will still have power only vo4.52.00 to get rid of the white screen press 'return' on your TV remote (not direct tv remote) then change the input pack to whatever it is it needs to be on to watch your (whatever)

You could try factory default code. 0000 or 1234.

1. Turn on the TV receiver

2. Press TV on the Sky Remote Control

3. Hold down SELECT and the RED buttons together for approximately two seconds, until the RED LED on the Sky remote blinks twice.

4. Enter three digit code from list for the receiver (early versions now flash twice).

5. Press select to enter code structure (the LED will flash twice if a valid code has been entered).

6. Now press the STDBY button and test other functions.

Repeat if necessary until a code is found that works most common functions

Make sure the batteries are good. Then try code 0056 to program it, or any of the following:

you either need to reset the lvds cable, or you have a bad panel. if it's the panel, it's trash.
