The Tcon is located under the small metal cover dead center at the top of the rear panel. Just remove the couple of screws and the tcon is directly under the metal shield. If you are using cable or satellite, you need to set the TV on. 3, or 4, and change the Chanel's with the box , not the TV.

The show u are watching must have a CC sign,before u even can get close captioning.The show's have a CC sign,tries press the button on the remote CC 1,2,3,4,5 on one of these numbers will have close captioning for the show.

"Normal" looks "streched" because the origin of the video is normal, so it gets streched. If you play a "letterboxed" material (may be a DVD) it comes compressed, (vertically streched) so when you play it in letterbox it streches up to the rigth aspect ratio. Take a look at it in wikipedia.

It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television.
