LED Indications

The front panel Status LED provides an indication of

the set's operation and the possible cause of a malfunction.

If an abnormal condition is indicated, perform the

Self Diagnostics procedure.

Self Diagnostics

To activate, press the front panel <ACTIVITY> &<CH

??> buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.

The STATUS LED will then flash denoting a two digit

code.

• The number of flashes indicates the value of the

MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2

second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the

(ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

Example: If the Error Code is "23", the LED

will flash two times, pause, and then flash three

times.

Error Codes, descriiptions and the most likely cause of

the error are listed in Table 2-3.

Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down." The LED

will probably be indicating an abnormal

condition. If the TV is switched Off, AC is

removed, or a System Reset is performed, the

code automatically resets to "12" No Error.

See the Error Code Log to retrieve a history of

errors.

Note: Use the front panel buttons, not the remote

control.

Note: If there is no response, the front panel may be

locked by a V-Chip setting. To unlock, press

and hold <ACTIVITY> on the front panel for

8 seconds.

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. well are you using an hdmi cable, cause if you are there is a known issue with the communciations where it will lose communication if you reremove the hdmi cable then turn the box off slide the cable back into the box then turn the box back on it should restore the pic and audio just fine. if this is your fix then its one of three things a faulty hdmi cable or an out of date hdmi cable meaning the version is no longer support for the video production. or it's the hdmi output on the cable box. or it's a poor seat/faulty hdmi input on the tv. easy fix is try to replace the cable or use componet cables (red/blue/green) if this is not the setup of your tv/cable box then i will need more info.

U still have sound?Replaced the LCD inverter board.

The tv dam light engine block it is the causes an the problems.This a major design flaw in the tv light engine block by the tv Corporations Samsung,Mitsubishi have this problems more than the other big screen tvs brands.A brand new tv?Take ur warrenty repair quickly,this things wouldn't stops.The white and black dots will continue and keep comming more and more.Until the tv have replace the light engine block or have it replaced another cuircuit board that help the light engine block too work.

The lamp is not enabled possibly due to the colour wheel motor not turning. Any broken glass jamming it? Or the lamp ballast has failed due to an old/worn lamp.
