Sound goes out at random
Hello,
The problem is from the sound chip/IC of your TV. The sound chip is failing/defective and it is giving a sign that it needs to be replaced. It's getting worse that is why it takes up to days..........
The sound chip/ic of your TV needs to be replaced for the sound to remain permanent.
But before that, connect the TV to a DVD player and observe if there is going to be sound. If there is no sound on the TV using a DVD player, or if problem persist, then it means the Sound ic/chip really needs replacement.
Replacing the sound chip requires skill, so I would suggest you allow a repairman help you out. It won't cost you much fixing this problem.
Good luck.

AOC 24G2U all buttons only control the input since this week, can't access the settings menu and the screen will start to switch input by itself?
If the buttons on your AOC 24G2U monitor are no longer functioning as expected, and you can only control the input/source selection, it indicates a possible issue with the monitor's control panel or the firmware. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Power Cycle: Turn off the monitor and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 1-2 minutes, then plug it back in and power it on again. This can help reset the monitor's internal settings and may restore the functionality of the buttons.
- Button Combination Reset: Some monitors have a button combination or sequence that can reset the settings to their factory defaults. Consult the user manual for your AOC 24G2U monitor or visit the manufacturer's website to find the specific button combination for resetting the monitor's settings. Follow the instructions carefully to perform the reset.
- Firmware Update: Check if there is a firmware update available for your monitor model. Visit the AOC website or contact their customer support to inquire about firmware updates. Updating the monitor's firmware can sometimes resolve issues with the control panel and restore full functionality to the buttons.
- Physical Inspection: Inspect the buttons on the control panel for any signs of physical damage or debris. Sometimes, dirt or debris can interfere with the proper functioning of the buttons. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the buttons and the surrounding area.
- Contact AOC Support: If the issue persists after attempting the above steps, it's recommended to contact AOC customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps or arrange for repair or replacement if necessary.
Please note that the steps provided are general guidelines and the exact steps or options may vary depending on your specific AOC 24G2U monitor model. Always refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer's customer support for model-specific instructions.
