Hey there "Lanier" do you still have the Hiccups ? if so, I will tell you how to get rid of them in 30 seconds. get a medium size glass (10-12oz) fill it to about 1" full from the top, now while standing up, drop your head down put the glass to your mouth so that your trying to drink off of the opposite side of the glass than you normally would, so that your chin is actually in the glass and so the bottom of the glass is going back towards your chest, now as you slowly bend forward from your waist, start drinking the water out of the glass, (its like your trying to take a drink in the opposite fashion that you normally would) . Now you might spill a little but its ok, you only need to drink a small amount of water, now when your bent over and have had a few swallows of water, keep your head bent down for 10 seconds or so and now stand back up and pour the rest of the water down the sink because your Hiccups are gone. Here is why this works, (it's actually a biological plumbing thing) the " Hiccups " are nothing more than an air bubble in your digestive system, so by bending over and drinking the water in this fashion, it lets the water run into your system and the air bubble to escape over the top. ( BTW my dad taught me this trick in 1965 and I've cured a million cases of Hiccups, plus I've won a lot of money in the bars showing people how to do this ). You can thank me later...

Try neutral if it doesn't start there then your lever and P R N D L are out of sync. You could also try pulling the little plug out of you consul and pushing down with a thin screwdriver on the switch in there then turn on the ignition switch if it starts then it's your neutral safety switch that has to be replaced by the dealer or a good shop that you trust. It should still fall under the vehicles warrenty though.

I don't think the problem is on your firewire since it still charge your camera. I suspect your camera driver get fail. Please re move and reinstall the driver on your computer and get them paired again.

sc400 is an ID sensor error. You probably only need to clean the ID sensor, rather than replace it, but there's a chance it could be something more serious, like a board or the transfer belt assembly.
Getting to the ID sensor is tricky -- you may want to call a service technician. The fuser needs to be removed and the whole right side door needs to be taken off. But chances are that once that ID sensor is cleaned and the machine is turned off and back on, the sc400 error will go away.

You can delete contacts by going to the Address Book:

- Press the User Tools button - Select System Settings - Select Admin Tools - Select Address Book Management - Select the contact(s) you want to erase and choose the Delete option - Exit out of User Tools

Hi, you should have received instructions with the photoconductor, but replacing it is pretty straightforward.
To remove the old photoconductor:
- Open the front door and the right side door. - Remove the toner hopper. - Unplug the connector going from the photoconductor into the machine. - Pull out the photoconductor.
To install the new photoconductor:

- Remove all of the tape, paper, and packing materials. - Slide the photoconductor into the slot left empty by the old one. - Attach the connector and route it behind the plastic guide. - Reinstall the toner hopper. - Close the right side door and front door.
If the machine was on when you replaced the photoconductor, it should automatically detect the new one.

Hi, whoever administrates that copier has set it up for key counter management, which means that unless you supply the correct key (which is typically a card that you swipe or a code you enter) you can't make color copies. If this is your copier, you can disable key counter management:
- Press the User Tools/Counter button. - Go to System Settings. - Go to Admin Tools. - Find the option for Key Counter Management and turn it off. - Exit out of User Tools.
Now you should be able to make copies normally.

Note that this answer assumes you are using a PC. Try using the task manager to close Acrobat. To do so, hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys and then push the Delete key. The task manager window should open and Adobe Acrobat should be on the list of running programs. Click on it and then click on the "end task" button below the text box witht the list of programs. If Acrobat still won't stop, give it a few minutes, then click on the process tab which will switch to a list of running processes, and end any process with Adobe or Acrobat in the title. This may cause your computer to restart, though. Once its off, I would recomend that you uninstal the program.

If you don't already know how to uninstal a program, here it is. click on start and click on "control panel" on the start menu. When the control panel window opens, click on "add and remove programs". This will open a new window with a list of programs installed on your computer. On the list, click on adobe acrobat. There should be a button marked remove. Click it and click on yes when the next widow to open asks if you want to remove the program.

You should contact a Lanier or Ricoh service technician to remove the hard drives for you, but if you have to do it yourself the hard drives can be removed by unscrewing and sliding out the controller board (on the right side of the copier). The hard drives are connected to the controller board by three screws and four connectors.

Hi, somehow the external key counter option for your copier got turned on. This option is typically used for coin-operated copiers such as those found in libraries. You can turn this option off by doing the following:

- Press the User Tools button - Select System Settings - Select Admin Tools - Select Key Counter Management - Choose Off, or de-select the full-color option if it is selected. - Exit out of User Tools

Now you should be able to copy normally!

Once you have replaced the waste ink tanks, you must rest the waste ink counter, by downloading the software. The companies discourage their users by not making this software available to the average Joe. So you will have to take it in to be serviced, explain specifically that the waste ink counter needs to be reset. This is going to cost $ how much I don't know, contact a dealer or printer technician.

Hi! ok, try to clean the contact with alcohol. If it is a refilled cartridge the you have a technical problem in the cartridge. You have to bring it back to the seller.
You can not solve it, you have o change the body of the cartridge.

Assuming you've taken care of the maintenance, i'd recommend this:
Check error log for problems' date, time and meter. Are they the same for each error?. If yes, disconnect the HDD, and test it. If the Problem still ocurr, replace first the Power Supply, next the controller.
The SC5XX would be an isolated event. Try replacing the thermostats for the same value, all of them, the higher, i mean, one is 179 degrees C and one 180 degrees, use both at 180. Also remeber use the new thermistors and thermostat types.
