Exponential Function How is my operation on my calculator

Good morning Cesar The guide for you calculator can be found here https://education.ti.com/en/us/guidebook/details/en/ADF11FB65B284B6195B0A7E9502784BA/baiiplus If you go to page 12, you'll see that this operation, for 42.2 to the 1.56 power would be done with [42.2] [Y^X][1.56][=] You could also do this with [42.2][ln][X][1.56][=][e^X] to do it with logarithms (which is how the calculator is doing it as well). Happy New Year! DH

My TI BA II Plus is returning incorrect answers for TVM problems... Is this common and can it be fixed?

Let's see, 10% interest per year on $100 for one month. That's 10/12 of a percent interest on $100 is $0.83, added to $100 is $100.83 (with a bunch more 3s at the end). Clearly this is the correct answer. What answer are you expecting? The future value at the end of one year instead of one month?

Convert decimal to binary on texas instrument BAII PLUS

Look at the keyboard and see if you can find a key marked BIN, OCT, HEX, DEC. If you cannot find these keys, the calculator does not perform Base-N calculations. That seems unnecessary on a Business Calculator.
