My guess is the battery was just changed? This watch needs to be cleared when the battery is changed. I recommend seeing a watch maker/technician to have the circuit board AC'd.

Check the connections for dirt and corrosion. Also see if the drivers are installed.

I am not familiar with garmin, but you could check the settings, if it is like a computer you may have to check or uncheck show weather conditions.

Which model is your watch`?

It sounds to me as you are having the problem with faulty contacts. They should be cleaned and checked for stiffness- if too weak must be replaced.
The next possible cause can be integrated circuit (IC) failure. In this case only skilled watchmaker can help you and that gonna be costly.

Just open your watch and take out the battery and leave it for 15 minutes and put it back the battery.The purpose of taking out the battery is to reset to it's original setting.

first make sure,all the button is functioning,then go to menu and try all function and observed,what the result,if nothing happen,try the long press,most of all the setting is by means of long press.
