My bernina artista180 won't power on
If your Bernina Artista 180 sewing machine won't power on, here are a few things you can try:
- Check the power supply: Make sure that your sewing machine is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. Try plugging another device into the same outlet to ensure that it's working.
- Check the cord and connections: Check the power cord for any visible damage or wear, and make sure it's securely plugged into the sewing machine. If you see any damage or wear, you may need to replace the power cord.
- Check the fuse: There may be a fuse in the power cord or on the machine that has blown. Check the owner's manual for instructions on how to replace the fuse.
- Try a different outlet: If you're using a surge protector, try plugging the sewing machine directly into a wall outlet to rule out any issues with the surge protector.
- Consult a professional: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be an internal problem with the machine that requires a professional technician to diagnose and fix.
If the issue persists, it may be best to contact Bernina customer support or take your sewing machine to a certified Bernina repair shop for further assistance.

working with Electrical parts "wires" is not something i would recommend unless you are an electrician but how ever i would try a new bulb first if that doesn't cure it i would take it back to your repair man who repaired it before
Can you tell me what the bobbin image on the
Hi, most likely your bobbin sensor is being blocked by something. Common causes are a dirty sensor. Q-tip on the eye of the sensor inside the bobbin door. Or there is fuzz blocking it. Next take out the bobbincase and the bobbin. Look in the bobbincase and you will see a round spring. This spring acts like a brake for the bobbin. Sometimes these springs will get moved and out of position blocking the little space that the bobbin sensor reads through. Reposition the spring so you can see through it and the bobbincase.
That should do it.
Good luck.

The presser foot doesn't sit all the way down in order to sew correctly. Can I adjust it myself? How?
Has that particular presser foot worked in the past? Do the other presser feet work? If it hasn't been used before, check that it is the correct foot for the machine. Is it perhaps a darning foot or free motion foot? If so, those particular feet are made to Not rest on the feed dogs so that the fabric can be manually moved without the use of the feed dogs. If none of the presser feet work with the machine, then the needlebar has probably shifted. It may be best to take it for service as it may require specific tools and gauges to adjust it properly.

How to disassemble unit,as something is rattling inside and button is loose
Hm, I think I'd take to a Bernina service repair. Just getting the outer case off without breaking it would be a challenge. You could probably just get a standard service, oil, and adjustment and ask them to take a look at the loose button and rattle. They may not even charge over and above the standard service fee.
