I cannot thread the machine.
Specifically, I
make sure the flywheel has been turned to where the needle is in it's highest position. Take the thread through #1 (machine should be labeled) and that should be a metal "notch" that holds the thread underneath to guide you down to #2 and if I'm not mistaken the thread guide for #3 is where you are having trouble. If your needle is in its highest position, then the metal guide inside the machine slot will also be at its highest position. Just take the thread back up, pull it back towards the back of the machine straight up and down in a 90 degree angle. When you pull the thread back, it should go through the slot opening. Once you have pulled it all the way back it should catch on to the metal mechanism in that slot. Then you pull the thread back down and continue on with steps 4 and 5 (threading), just look for the numbers on the machine...
How to thread this machine
Go to http://www.sewusa.com/Threading_Diagrams/Threading_Pages/Euro_Pro_Sewing_Machine_Threading/euro_pro_1260_threading_diagram.htm. These are picture instructions on threading the 1260, which is probably the same as the 1260DX. When the model numbers are this close, there's usually little, if any, difference in threading the machines. There's usually only some additional stitch functions in the "deluxe" or DX model.

Hi, I need a new
Take the unit into a sewing dealer, they have most replacements available for this machine. A average cost......about 40-50 depending on quality.Or a large on line sewing company stocks as well. Do a search for foot controller sewing machine and stuff comes up. Probably less time and hassle to call a local business.

How do I oil it. I bought it new and it seems to
did you get a operation manual with the sewing machine,, it should tell if your is self oiling or you have to oil it,,
are the stitches loose on top of the fabric you have to adjust the bobbin
but if stitches are loose on bottom of fabric adjust top tension- usually a setting 3 or 4 should be good
