I have a E20 Huskystar
Thread in the bobbin area can be difficult to get out. Even though you do not see any there is thread wrapped around under the hook area. Shine a flashlight in there and look carefully. Often times you will see a piece of thread. Use tweezers to get it out, pull slowly while turning the wheel by hand. If you notice the thread not coming out, turn the wheel in the opposite direction.
Removing parts in the bobbin area will allow you to get at any thread that is hung up in there. The smallest of pieces can create havoc in there as you may find out. Before removing parts make sure you have a manual in case you forget how to put them back. Remove one piece at time and check for thread right after. No need to remove more than you have to.
When threading my machine the needle is not picking up the bobbin thread.
it is called needle and hook timing
after the needle has been fully down and is starting to come back up the hook for the bobbin carrier should be at or slightly before the eye of the needle
in most machines it is adjustable by loosening of the clamp on the needle shaft and moving the shaft up or down to get the desired position relation of needle to hook
don't turn the machine or that alters the hook position so leave it steady while moving the needle shaft
once the desired timing is achieved re-tension the clamp on the shaft
go google and type in--t workshop manual ( not user ) for your make and model machine manual)in pdf version for your make and model machine and the needle /hook timing and adjustment procedure should be in there
How to replace bobbin winder on designer 1
Please be more specific with the issue, as usual I will advise any mechanical problem to be looked at by authorized and trained service technician. These are fairly intricate machines and should be looked at and worked on by trained personel to get you back to your project.
