Memory craft 5700 needle vibrates when I turn machine on

The issue you're experiencing could be caused by a few different factors, including a bent needle, incorrect threading, or a malfunctioning bobbin case . I would recommend checking the following: Ensure that the needle is inserted correctly and is not bent or damaged. Check that the machine is threaded correctly and that the thread is not tangled or caught anywhere. Inspect the bobbin case to ensure that it is properly installed and functioning correctly. If the issue persists, I would recommend contacting a Janome dealer or repair center for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose the issue and provide a solution .

Adjust thread and bobbin tension

These are the instructions in the manual: Adjusting the Thread Tension Balanced thread tension: Small amount of the needle thread shows on the wrong side of the fabric. When the needle thread tension is too tight: The bobbin thread shows on the right side of the fabric. Reduce the tension by turning the tension dial to a lower number. When the needle tension is too loose: The needle thread forms loops and the stitches look shaggy. Increase the tension by turning the dial to a higher number. However, if you have recently changed the needle check that it is pushed right up in the slot. Other thing that springs to mind is making sure that the bobbin thread is correctly placed in the bobbin, and that the chamber is not full of lint and threads.

The fuse is blowing because the wheel is tight. This causes an increase of load on the motor which in turn blows the fuse. I would look at the upper and lower shafts for thread wraps or dirt, properly lubricate the bushings, turn machine by hand and try to find tight spots. no sense putting in a new fuse until the problem is fixed .

How can I correct the tension. It does not look right. I have it set for 3 and the others are 3.5 and 2.8.

It might be your bobbin tension that is wrong. On your bobbin carriage there is a little screech. Probably on the front. Just a 1/4 turn can make a difference. Pull the thread from the bobbin when it is in the carriage and it should be the same tension as your upper tension.

Overload message on my janome 8000

I know you said you have performed the reset sequence, but try these steps and see if the unit goes through the diagnostics correctly.1
  • Turn off your Janome MC8000. Wait for a few seconds.
2
  • Press and hold the "Start," "Reverse" and "Auto lock" buttons at the same time.
3
  • Release the three buttons once your Janome MC8000 turns on.
4
  • Locate the plus (+) sign on the machine screen. Press the plus sign when prompted. Wait till you receive a message that says "Test Complete."
5
  • Turn off the Janome MC8000. Wait for a few seconds.
6
  • Turn on the Janome MC8000 once again. This will prompt the embroidery machine to conduct a diagnosis. Wait till it finishes the diagnosis and troubleshoots the errors you were encountering before.

A little sticky when trying to bring bobbin thread up; tension seems a little off;machine makes a clacking sound when sewing

Sounds like a machine that needs a good cleaning. How long since the most recent tuneup (COA)? If more than a year, it's probably time. You can try running the machine full tilt for about 15 minutes with the needle out and no thread -- that sometimes helps machines that have just sat unused for awhile. (Run your machines at least 5 minutes a month, either by sewing on them, or without the needle. Keeps the bearings lubricated)
