I have loops on the bottom of my work , top thread not tightening .How do I tighten it .

If this is happening during embroidery, please make sure the presser foot is in the down position. With the embroidery foot on, it's sometimes hard to tell. The check spring in your upper tension may be bad. You won't be able to fix it yourself. Take it in to your local repair shop. The last option is to remove the needle plate and bobbin case. Turn the screw on the front 1/4 turn to the left, no more. If this doesn't help, leave it alone and take it in to the shop.

How do I replace the lightbulb on a Jamome 9000MC? Where is the lightbulb?

I'm pretty sure you just swing open the lamp cover and the bulb will be right there. It just pulls out. This is a halogen bulb and will be spendy (over $20).

My janome memory 9000 squeaks when embroidering

If it squeaks when you are embroidering and not when you are sewing, it's the belts on the embroidery unit. From use, they can become glazed, slick and then they squeak. If it squeaks when you are doing either, it's more than likely an internal lubrication of the machine that needs to be done by a trained technician. Cheers, Kelly Embroidery Services San Diego, CA

Servicing and cleaning my sewing machine

Hello Hazel The Memory Craft 9000 is a computerized sewing machine. In removing the casing precautions must be taken to prevent damage to the electronic boards which are costly to replace. As a result it is recommended by the manufacturer (Janome) that this work be performed only by qualified technicians with the required equipment to prevent any damage. What is the reason for requiring the casing to be removed?

My memory craft 9000 have no icons on touch screen.it hasn't been used for years .what could be the poblem

Electronic at times, when they set up for a long time go bad, especially when packed away. Camera's are known for it. Take it to a shop before making any decisions about it. It could be a simple cap that needs replacing.

How do I fix the following problem with my Janome MC9000 sewing machine?

Unfortunately you are probably not going to be able to fix this. It needs a sensor adjusted (probably), or a component replaced.

Why is bobbin thread showing through on pattern

you need to loosen the top tension. if you notice the tension is too loose on top and bottom at the same time then go ahead and tighten the bobbin tension a small amount. then you can adjust the tension of the top. if the top thread tension is too tight the thread from the bobbin will penetrate through. the opposite is true. if the top is too loose then too much of the top thread will penetrate the fabric underneath. remember to get the tensions between the top tension and bobbin tension equal so the knot will end in the middle of the fabric.

My janome 9000 screen is blank and wont turn on. It worked before I traveled by car with it any suggestions?

I'm so sorry but with the screens it needs a professional I know you want to repair it by yourself but you could actually cause more problems. You need a Janome dealer or a dealer that specializes in screens.
