How do i thread my 434d overlocker i have
I scanned my manual for it, and it can be downloaded for free
here.
The gist of it, is that you should do the lower looper first, upper looper, right needle, then left needle. From the front of the machine, this is starting with the rightmost holes on the threadguide plate, and finishing with the leftmost holes on the threadguide plate.

Seriously, after a freindspent a lot of time trying to thread the 634D,and she knows overlockers,I'm convinced its a waste of time, despite the fact that it is fixable and still in good working order,I have seen how uncomplicated her singer overlocker is and much easier to use in every way, So I have resolved to buy one, which means my problem with the 634D is solved..Thank you anyway.. How can I convert jpeg files to the JEF format?
there is no automatic converter as far as i know. the only tool i am aware of is the Embird Studio having a tool where you can load your jpeg and MANUALLY draw the necceassary stiches on.
there is an other approch thinkable, that you verctorize your jpeg by a vector graphics converter and then convert your vector graphics to stitches. but i assume your milage will vary (n the pciture), and i beleive it wont be too far (so still leaving you with a lot of manual work).
