Hi, I have acquired a used

Hi
I couldn't find a manual for the MyLock 234 on the Janome site.
There is one available free to download for the MyLock 204D.
http://content.janome.com/documents/File/ManualFile/MyLock204D.pdf
I think it's only a partial manual but it should be similar enough to help you get started with the basics of threading the machine etc.
Hope this helps

Janome MyLock 634D serger won't

if the handwheel won't turn, i'd double check nothing is still stuck. also, make sure you didn't half disengage the blade as they have several positions ( so you can disengage it for rolled hem etc) If you can't find anything I'm sorry to say something may have been damaged when the fabric got caught.

I want to just make

if you are using an overlocker you can't replicate the straight stich as it has no bobbin for the underneath stitch. Even if you get a stitch like that accidently, it will pull apart because the 2 threads are not linked in any way; sorry

Motor is noisy

I think you need to oil your machine. Clean out any fluff (lint) from inside the machine first. Look at the specific points to oil in your user's manual. Use only sewing machine oil. As a motor is made of moving parts these must be oiled from time to time so that they can move smoothly and do not become rusty.

I've just got janome 634d serger, how can i make

If you want the bottom of the T to look like RTW with the double row of stitching, you cannot do this on a serger.

You can achieve the effect by using a twin needle, two spools of thread, bobbin and a straight stitch.

Make sure the double/twin needle will pass through the presser foot and opening in the needle plate below the presser foot.

Practice on a double layer of a scrap of the T shirt material as the tension may need to be slightly looser than the normal setting.
