Pfaff Hobby 1142 Reverse stitch lever twisted doesn't work

Take it back to the Dealer.( He probably has a guarantee on the work he did). Let him show you how it works. If he won't do this then it is definitely time to find a more reputable dealer. If you paid for a repair it should have been repaired.

Machine stops sewing when I hit a thickness

it may be that your motor belt needs tighening or the belt may be damaged - you can check belt and adjust tension yourself once side cover is removed.

if you are sewing thick seams and the needle is resting on the seam as you begin to sew you may have to help the machine to get started. if the fabric is not thick it must be belt tension.

I have pfaff 4260 sewing machine. On stiching thread does not interlpcked and fabric can not b stitched properly. I did not find any service centre in Mumbai india. What to do?

I would suggest that you call pfaff because if you do not have a pfaff dealer where you live then you will have to pack it up and ship it to a pfaff dealer that is near to you. Good luck oh and make sure to insure it. Hope that helps

Needle will not pickup bobbin thread

This is generally caused by either the needle being inserted backwards or by the needle being bent. It may not look bent, but be ever so slightly bent that you can't even see it with your eye.

The best thing to do is to change your needle, make sure you are inserting it with the flat side facing away from you in the shaft. See if this doesn't solve your problem. Good luck!

2056 the understitch is loose. Is this a problem

Sounds like a threading problem. Thread the machine all the way to the needle but not the needle eye. Then pull on the thread and lift the presser foot up and down. You should have tension when it is down and no tension when it is up. If this is the case try sewing, should fix the problem. If this is not the case your machine will need to be adjusted buy your pfaff dealer.
Hope this helps

I have a performance 2056

I believe that you have it already figured out. The tension is going to be the problem. Try adjusting the tension, just try different settings.
