it would be a good idea to have the bobbin case checked at a sewing machine repair shop to see if the bobbin case needs to be replaced or see if there is something wrong with the hook and hook race.

What you really need is a sewing machine tech. You are trying to time it the wrong way. The hook tip should be just above the eye of the needle when the needle is in the extreme left hand position

Close your futura file & exit, switch off your futura machine. Disconnect the embroidery unit from the machine,move the hoop carriage a bit to the left then to the right & it should be able to move. Connect back embroidery unit to your futura machine,ensuring the connecting point click properly. Re thread the machine & ensure needle is fully up position. Now you switch on the machine, you will see hoop carriage moving and stop at its zero point. If that is OK and the earlier led blinking gone, you should be able to operate the futura embroidery program again.

You can locate the serial number on the back of the CD or DVD case. also Please check your email which is provided as contact. Usually the serial number is sent to the email ID too. In adverse case you must contact the company support line or the supplier. Good luck.

you can go to the design on the machine and push skip on all the colors or you can just go to your compter and restart it and it will lose the memory for that design. now that i helped you out can you pleasse help me out on the back of your startup cd there is a access code can you type it in a email back to me and i can assist. you better and correctly. thanks sharon

there is a insert in your cd case on the back of there it will say access code plesse get back with me with this number and i will tell you if it is the right one.

Due to obligatory special sertificate for driver installation under WIndows 7 all Futura updates are delayed. As soon as Singer will break through beaurocratic procedures all updates will be released, firstly for newer models, then for older.

There are now several versions of the basic Futura software and AutoPunch available on the market. The most current is version 1.0.0.2. To determine what version of either software you have, you will find this information around the inside rim of the CD at approximately 4 o'clock. Before loading any of the Options into your computer, check the version and then follow the steps below. The following steps will update your software so that you will now have the latest 1.0.0.2 version of the basic program and all options.

To load base software 1.0.0.0 with AutoPunch 1.0.0.0 or base software 1.0.0.1 with Autopunch 1.0.0.1

• You must use bobbin part number 085128. This bobbin is specifically designed for the Futura CE-100 and CE-200.
• Load Base software (have machine set-up for embroidery with USB connected to both machine and computer - machine turned OFF)
• Turn on Futura machine and double left click on Futura icon to open program
• Close program and turn off the machine
• Install Autopunch and leave the CD in the tray

Look for the buttonhole lever, just in front of the presserlever, on the lefthand side of the machine. Pull it down and push it back to the top. Good Luck

IF YOUR WINDOWS 7 UPDATED TO 64 BIT, THE SOFTWARE WONT WORK ANYMORE

I have a Futura, different model but im sure the same instructions. You have to put the software that came with it on your computer. If you dont have it you can download it from the Singer website. Once you have the program on your computer you must have the USB cord plugged into the machine and your computer. Turn your machine on, then open the program on your computer. You must ALWAYS do it in this order. It will not allow you to open the program without being plugged into the machine. You can however plug it in, open the program and then unplug it from your computer and still work inside the program. Once you have your design ready you want to make sure you use good stabilizer specific for embroidery. Make sure to stretch your fabric tight inside the hoop and place it on the machine. Then all you have to do is tell it to transmit to the machine and press the start button! I use mine all the time and love it! Once you figure it out it is easy and so smooth that you can walk away while it is doing its thing! Good luck!!

I would suggest you do not buy it. I would buy if they let me bring in my software and machine to test before purchase. My experience tells me it wont work because of drivers for the machine. Buyer beware! If they do not allow the test do not buy!

You can only use the futura software, autopunch, hyperfont and cross stitch

My experience follows: If operating system is Windows Vista go to Singer Futura web site and down load a patch. Make sure you read and get the right one...This worked for me on one computer operating Vista...However, my laptop that is operating on Windows 7 and doesnt have the patch yet...from what I have read it is in the works waiting to be approved by Microsoft - Very Frustrating!
